Call for Papers: Education and Political Struggles!

In the face of the growing attack on working peoples we are issuing a special call for submissions on the theme of education and political struggle. From students in Quebec to teachers in British Columbia and across the globe education is a critical site of class struggle -pun intended;). We are looking for full length articles, short commentaries, photo essays - you name it we'll consider it for this special issue. Please submit using our online system by September 15, 2012. Items will be reviewed as they arrive.

New Proposals calls for submissions of papers, commentaries, reflections and photo essays that showcase progressive scholarship.

We are interested in full-length articles (normally 3,500 to 10,000 words) as well as shorter comments and arguments (up to 3,500 words). We also welcome short research reports (up to 1,500 words) summarizing the theoretical framework, methodology, and preliminary results of research projects that draw on progressive research traditions.
